Danbury Dodge in Danbury, Connecticut - WORST DEALERSHIP!

I saw a used truck online, that looked amazing in the pictures. I went to the dealership first thing in the morning. I acquired about the truck, and was seated with a salesman who immediately blew me off, and sent me to another salesman, that was new, when I said what truck I was interested in. This new salesman left sitting at his desk for 45 minutes while he tried to locate the truck, coming back a few times stating the truck was there, but he couldn't find it. He proceeded to come back again saying it was getting cleaned up, and then it was being serviced, then being safety tested. I asked several times to see the truck, being told that I couldn't see it while in the shop. Again he left me sitting at his desk. Finally coming back saying it wasn't ready yet, and he would call me when it was. He called me an hour later, saying he found the truck, and was being serviced for a bad headlight, and tail light, and he would call me later when it was done. I waited all day for his call, and about 5 pm I called him and asked what was going on. He told me it was still being worked on. I asked if I could come and see the truck. He said yes. When I arrived, again being told that I couldn't see it while in shop. I asked what was so wrong with this truck if it taking so long, he said that they were just really busy. He said don't worry this is a clean beautiful truck, no scratches, or anything. We then proceeded to start the paperwork. He told me I had to leave a deposit to proceed with the paperwork. Against my better judgement I did, because I loved the truck I saw in the picture, and I took his word that this was a clean, beautiful truck. He kept telling me I would love this truck. I asked agin to see it, but again being told not while in the shop. He told me he would call me the next day, when the truck was done being serviced, cleaned, and safety tested. The following day, he called me, and said truck was going to be ready that afternoon, and that I needed to put more money, which I refused, because after giving it some thought, I felt I was being jerked around, and scammed. I told him I would stop in after work. He called me later that afternoon asking if I was still coming, truck was ready. I went in after work, and he said I had to speak with finance manager, and he was going to get the truck. Again being left there for about half hour, being told he couldn't locate the truck. Finally him, and I his finance manager with an attitude came in, and said plow truck was being sold as is, and they had to replace a tie rod. Plow truck? There wasn't a plow in the pictures, nor was I told there was a plow until this point. I was NOT looking for a plow truck. Who puts a plow on a ram 1500 Anyways?. At this point I was so irate, I demanded to see the truck. I was taken way out into the back of the lot, and finally saw this piece of ***. It looked nothing like the picture! FALSE ADVERTISING!!! This truck was filthy, body damage everywhere, interior was worn. I couldn't believe what I was looking at, and waiting for! I couldn't believe they were asking the price they were for this truck! Way over priced! I demanded my deposit back, and this finance manager with an attitude, along with other employees, started to belittle me, and make me feel like I was in the wrong, and I shouldn't have put a deposit down if I wasn't interested in this truck that they refused to show me until this point. At this point I was ready to completely lose it! I demanded my deposit again, being told I couldn't get it then, because accounting was closed, and he would leave a check for me at the front desk. At the desk? What I'm not a person anymore, because I'm not giving you, liars, and scam artists my business! The following day, I went to get my deposit back, and the woman at the front desk gave me an attitude when I told her who I was, and why I was there. This was the worst dealership experience in my life! I won't ever let anyone I know do business with these people, and I hope neither do you, after reading this. These people do not deserve to be in business, or serving the public!!

Bought my Chrysler Sebring in 2010. Have been bringing it in for service since then with no complaints. On 7/15/20015 had brakes done for $692.45.Had an 8 Am 8/26 8AM appt to ck. AC after 3:30 said it needed refrigerant, but bring it back in 1,000 mi because there may be a leak. Pd. $196.08. C/d bk 9/8 no AC. Sch'd apt for 9/17 which was the earliest appt. Brought in 9/16 for 8 AM apt on 9/17. C/d 3 X"s at 4 pm they said needed part. 9/18 c/d 3 X. 4 pm c/d back to say car not ready but can pick it up on Monday. I've been without a car for 5 days... finally picked it up on Monday @ 12:30. At cost of $760. No mention of loaner. Will not use service again. Bought my car from this dealer - have always used them for service. Very disappointed after all these years. I think I should have, at least, gotten a cr. for the $196.08. You just lost a customer!

Danbury Dodge in Wallingford, Connecticut - Horrible Service Department and Manager

Worst service department ever. Took our 2003 Dodge ram in service. Ended up having to have the truck towed out of there and brought somewhere else to fix the mistakes Danbury Dodge made at a cost to us of over $1000. Service manager is arrogant, condescending and has no business being in customer service. Tried contacting owner multiple times to discuss and he wouldn't return a call or email. Technicians are not qualified to work on diesel motors. They botched up a repair on the truck, we got stuck on I-84 with it and then they told us they were "pretty sure" they figured out the problems. One minute they say they test vehicles on the computer, but when asked for the diagnostics, their story changes that they manually test everything. They have no clue what they are doing. They could care less about customer service - only about how much money they can get out of you. Run from this dealer as fast as you can.

i had my truck repaired by the service department ,the repair was not done right and the parts from the the repair wasleft on top of the motor under the hood and could have fell into the fan and killed the 5,000.00 motor.Because of this i lost a days pay the cost of a tow truck to get it back to the service dept. and they never offered anything for their screw up.so i lost money time from work and now i have tofind another repair shop to fix truck that i bought from danbury dodge, and the loss of money to me in these times is very hard

Danbury Dodge in Cleveland, Ohio - Stay away from Danbury Chrysler, Dodge, & Jeep!

The worst dealership on the planet period. Run as fast as you can away from this dealership!!! I'd like to give the dealership as a whole less than 1 star. All the way from Sales to Service, the people are the rudest workers I have ever encountered. The sales manager JD is pushy, rude, and condescending. Sales associates have no idea what they're selling, don;t know aout options/features. As bad as the sales separtment is, service is so much worse. My recent brand new car has been back to the dealership over 6 times in the past 6 months. The service manager Paul is rude and unapologetic and acts as if you're the one inconveniencing him by bring you car in with an issue. I just got back from picking up my vehicle after it was there for over a week, in which they were unable to solve the problem with the vehicle. I received a call late Friday afternoon before the 4th of July weekend telling me I could plick up the car. I was unable to do so and told them I would pick it up after the long weekend. I just picked up the vehicle today (Wednesday at 5pm) and had to wait for the Service Manager to complete my Work Order. All told I stood at the service counter for over 15 mins while he "hunted and pecked" the verbage onto my work order explaining how they were unable to fix my vehicle. All the while, noone appologized for the continuing inconvenience/aggrivation. If you absolutely must buy a Chrysler/Kia product do yourself a favor a steer clear of this dealership. The aggrivation isn't worth the convenience of having a dealership in and around Danbury. Travel a little ways further, you'll be better off...
